So much cool in my life!
Thankful for my family and employees
As we head into the depths of the holiday season, it always seems to be a wonderful time to reflect on the past year. In 2019, I have had some amazing shifts in my life that have brought me closer to my home state of Minnesota. Finding my footing in a new place after living in California for 25 years makes me incredibly grateful for my staff in my other company, Bayshore Elite Gymnastics. Our staff is comprised of managers that I have worked with for over 20 years, accompanied by a revolving group of young coaches that continue to teach me the new trends of their generation.
Our prime staff gets constant recognition for their work such as the earning of the Bay Area's Best award four years in a row and our most recent award, Redwood City Best. These quality people have a true passion for what they do in this company.
Although I have a huge hole in my heart from missing my staff, there is so much to be grateful for with the young children that come through our doors every day. Over 900 students visit us every week and their excitement, curiosity and talent are truly inspiring. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss their adorable faces in the gym.
Ten years ago when I started this journey of building Bayshore Elite Gymnastics, Cheer, and Sport I couldn’t have done it without the support of my husband and two boys. Lots of hours, dedication and sacrifice went into making this company thrive. Not to mention the times where I could hear the whispers about how crazy I was for opening the company in the middle of a financial crisis but, I believed. I believed in the athletes, I believed in my family and I believed in myself.
With that being said, I want to give a huge congratulations to my family, my staff and well, me, for making a great company that gets to celebrate ten years young. Here’s to decades more of continuing to build upon such an important staple in our community. Thank you all for being a part of it, I am truly grateful.
